In 2026, the game has changed. Meta (Instagram's parent company) now allows anyone to get verified... if you are willing to pay for it. Here is everything you need to know about getting verified in India.
1. What is the Price in India?
Instagram rolled out "Meta Verified" specifically for Indian creators. The pricing model is a monthly subscription, not a one-time fee.

2. The Eligibility Checklist
Even if you have the money, you can't just buy it instantly. You must meet these strict criteria:

- Face Photo: Your profile picture must be a clear photo of your face. No logos or abstract art (unless you are a business applying for Business Verification).
